Focused on developing and refining a roadmap for entry into the United States, guided by an assigned mentor based on relevant industry knowledge and expertise.

Ongoing mentorship and networking to support the execution of your market-entry strategy, including meeting potential customers, partners, and team members. 

1 Week: Readiness Sprint in Singapore

Over the course of one week, expert practitioners and mentors from the 500 Startups global network will help participants build a framework and plan for maximizing their time in the United States. The curriculum will consist of morning lectures followed by afternoon application workshops, including subjects such as:

  • CREATING A GROWTH FRAMEWORK — Methods to understand and assess the primary components of growth, i.e. who is the customer, what do they want, and how to reach them

  • UNDERSTANDING THE CUSTOMER — Building a strategy for understanding and prioritizing customers, particularly questioning assumptions in a foreign market

  • BUILDING AND MANAGING THE FUNNEL — Constructing a process for driving and tracking customer interactions across different stages of the purchasing funnel

  • DESIGNING AND RUNNING EXPERIMENTS — Strategy and tactics for low-cost product and growth experiments for rapid learning in a new, different market

  • PLOTTING A US GROWTH PATH — Developing a clear vision and strategy for how to maximize the business and learning value of exchange to the Bay Area
